Terms & Conditions

1.1 All bookings made through the Megah Hwang Car Rental website require a deposit of RM50 (Malaysian Ringgit).

1.2 The deposit is non-refundable in case of cancellation within 24 hours of the rental start time.

1.3 The deposit will be applied to the total rental cost upon vehicle pickup.

2.1 The minimum rental period is one (1) day (24 hours).

2.2 Rental periods begin at the time of vehicle pickup and end at the time of vehicle return.

2.3 Late returns will incur additional charges as outlined in section 3.

3.1 Rental rates are calculated on a daily basis, with the day defined as a 24-hour period.

3.2 For rentals extending beyond the booked period, an additional hourly rate of RM30 per hour will be charged.

3.3 Partial hours will be rounded up to the nearest full hour for billing purposes.

4.1 The renter must present a valid driver’s license and credit card at the time of vehicle pickup.

4.2 The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as it was received, excluding normal wear and tear.

4.3 Fuel levels must be the same as at pickup. A refueling fee will be charged if the vehicle is returned with less fuel.

5.1 Basic insurance is included in the rental rate. Additional coverage options may be available at an extra cost.

5.2 The renter is responsible for any damage to the vehicle resulting from negligence or misuse.

6.1 Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the rental start time will receive a full refund of the deposit.

6.2 Modifications to bookings are subject to vehicle availability and may result in rate changes.

7.1 Vehicles may not be used for any illegal activities, off-road driving, or to transport hazardous materials.

7.2 Smoking is strictly prohibited in all rental vehicles.

8.1 Renters must be at least 21 years of age. Drivers under 25 may be subject to a young driver surcharge.

9.1 The renter is responsible for all traffic violations, fines, and penalties incurred during the rental period.

10.1 These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
